What kind of non-GSM devices are you looking for?

I have the same issue. I want to buy multiple tracking devices; however, is there any GPS device that does not require a data connection of some kind? I don't want to have a data plan, that was the purpose of setting up my own server.
I was looking for a personal device, something i could strap on my child, or carry in a backpack. RickOShay, you could try APRS. You'll need a amateur radio licence but it avoids all the carrier fee's.
There are GPS loggers which basically record GPS info into the internal memory and then you can download it later through cable, but Traccar doesn't support those types of devices at this point.
Friends, does Traccar work with devices that send the coordinates via SMS?
Unfortunately not.
Looking around eBay, Amazon, and Aliexpress, I cannot seem to find any non GSM devices. When I search google, my results seem to end up with all business and no personal trackers. I only intend to purchase a few units, and the type of website I am finding seems to suggest bulk orders are necessary. Does anyone know of any venders that sell individual units?
