I don't see any data from your device in the server logs.
What do you mean by "could not open… none of the ports"? How did you try to "open" them?
Hi... From browser...
If I go 104.251.215.88 I could track my andorid phone..
but If I add the port behind.. I can not access..
If guess I am doing something wrong right.. if you could lead me to right way.. please
Obviously you can't access it from browser because those ports don't use HTTP protocol.
I guess your device just doesn't send any data to the server.
So what is the approach for me to be able to track my Chinese GPS ?
Is that possible by using demo.traccar or I need to download the server ?
Hi,
Let's say I install traccar server in digitalocean, and I can access it from ipaddress:8082
What do I need to do to to see my device... which I believe it's port is 5002
Regards,
Bes
Of course you can use demo server. You just need to configure your device to send data.
Hi,
I didn't know that I have to configure my device... sorry for that.
Anyway at this time, I've configured APN, set interval to 60 seconds, set server ip to 104.251.215.88 and port 5002
but it's not working... I guess you can check now in server logs if the port number is ok or not.
Thank you in advance :)
Still nothing from your device.
Hi Anton,
I have this device:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Arrival-Mini-Vehicle-GSM-GPRS-GPS-Tracker-or-Car-Vehicle-Tracking-Locator-Device-TK102B/32735768820.html?
I did the following:
begin123456
received "begin ok"
than i set apn:
apn123456 apn
I did not set any username or password my operator told me that is not necessary
than i set the ip:
adminip123456 104.251.215.88 5002
adminip ok!
than i set t060s***n123456
but I was reciving a lot of sms so i set it
t060s000n123456
As per Unique ID I took off 4 first numbers from IMEI and added 0...
What did I do wrong ?
Thnx for your help Anton!
I don't know much about device configuration. You should check device manual or contact vendor. Maybe someone else, who owns similar device, can help.
Hi Anton,
I managed to run it... now I can see it! :) :) :)
I believe port 5002 was fine right :)
PS.
Just want to note.. thank you for this great platform, I read about you and about your work with this platform and where you want to see this thing in near future and I honestly wish you all the best.
Also note to others who have this item.. the protocol is TK103 and right port is 5002.
Cheers
Now the signal is lost.. :( hope you can see any logs or something why!
It means that your device doesn't send any GPS data. I'm not going to check logs for you every 5 minutes.
Hi,
This might be a noob problem.. but I already tried a lot of things and I can't get over it.
I just bought an Cheap Chinese GPS tracker
S/N: 087072988466
IMEI: 352887072988466
From here in forum, I understood that my ID is 087072988466 and I should use port 5002.
So I went and tried public demo servers like this: 104.251.215.88:5002
But I could not open... none of the ports ... what am I doing wrong ?
Looking forward to receive some help from someone.
Cheers,
Bes
