I understand there are standard and non-standard (proprietary) nmea message formats. So far I have seen traccar server decoding non-standard (proprietary) nmea message formats. Is possible for traccar to decode the standard one -vanilla NMEA 0183 Protocol.
Apologies if I am making a mistake I am new to GPS.
Vanilla NMEA doesn't have any identification messages. It's just location data.
