If it is reliable it could be a decent low cost replacement for the tk103 since 2G service is going away in the US. At least it's worth checking out? According to the comments he is saying the protocol is class 12, TCP. I'm not sure if that helps. I will let you know if I can get them to email me the full details.
It doesn't help. TCP is a transport layer protocol. Almost all devices use it. We need to know application layer protocol.
