I think your Telco ISP blocks URL links similar like my country too.
My work about is first to temporary define IP format first of your router Public IP via SMS so that TracCar see your device as online.
Then change it via TracCar Custom Command to domain format to use it with Dynamic DNS service.
So every time your ISP changes your public IP of your router it gets updated IP too.
yes I know that Telco ISP changes ip's so I will redirect through Dynamic DNS services.
now I fix the port forwording so the server ip is just 15.175.146.41 or 1wedgps.ddns.net1 but device is still offline.
maybe should I use username or password inside device to access traccar server ?
The other test is to determine if your Telco ISP blocks port 9090 and 5023 from Internet after you set port forwarding already?
Port forwarding function on router just exposed the intended port to Internet.
Dynamic DNS service ensure you gets updates Public IP.
Please do not get confused. Else do some study first of those topics.
I changed 9090 to 80 then from 80 to traccar default port 8082 so can access server directly from IP 5.175.146.4 no need to add any ports.
5023 not blocked because can see device is online on https://demo.traccar.org/
so in https://demo.traccar.org/ device is online
in 5.175.146.4
or wedgps.ddns.net
device is offline
Yes, I can see your TracCar Web UI on port 80 as I have tested now from Internet successfully on http://5.175.146.4/ or http://wedgps.ddns.net/
Now need to test is port 5023 at your home fiber line blocked by ISP or not?
port is open not blocked
yes now I can see the device is online, thank you so much for your help and support
the problem was that I send SERVER,0,5.175.146.4,5023,0# after server 0 is wrong, I put after server 1 so the device became online
so the correct command is SERVER,1,5.175.146.4,5023,0#
As I have tested via port checker website your IP or DDNS port 5023 is open and it should shows your GPS Tracker online.
Oh. My mistake. I forgot to notify you the SERVER,1 is for IP format and SERVER,0 is for domain format.
My sincere apologies. Anyway I am happy you figured it out by your self, bravo!
Don't mention it, as sharing is caring, cheers.
Regards from Malaysia.
I also like to thank Anton for giving us opportunity to discuss how to resolves TracCar newbie experiences.
Malaysia my second home :") I do my master degree there, I like it so much, people are very nice and kind, thanks again for your help
Oh! Welcome to Malaysia. We might bump into each other if you booked a Grab Car Taxi ride in Kuala Lumpur some day. I am currently a Grab Car Taxi driver after I lost my IT Network Engineer job at Taylor's University after the Covid-19 Pendamic.
Best regards,
Rodney Yeo
so this command should be correct?
SERVER,0,5.175.146.4,5023,0#
