Device stops reporting after Speed Limit or Geofence notification

Hi All,

I am using Freematics One+ with the 6.5 Traccar server for some time now. One of the patterns I see is that whenever there is a notification triggered, such as "Speed Limit Exceeded" or "Geofence Exited," the device freezes and stops making contact with the server. Sometimes it comes back by itself after a few hours, or sometimes I need to unplug and plug it back in again.
This behavior is really dampening usability because not many users are comfortable touching the devices that connect to the OBD port.
Has anyone experienced this in their environment? I appreciate any advice.

Thanks,
Amit

Have you checked logs to see if there are any errors or warnings?

the last few line of logs are -

2024-12-18 23:08:34 INFO: [Uc9c104d6: freematics < 172.59.217.3] UCFLxxx#EV=4,TS=1837799,ID=UCFLFxxxSSI=-93*42
2024-12-18 23:08:35 INFO: [Uc9c104d6: freematics < 172.59.217.3] UCFLxxx#EV=2,TS=1839063,ID=UCFLxxx,SSI=-93*32
2024-12-18 23:18:35 INFO: Event id: UCFLxxx, time: 2024-12-18 23:18:35, type: deviceUnknown, notifications: 0

After this no event and device has not checked-in since then. I am sure a plug/un-plug will bring it back.

Sounds like a device issue.
