I am trying to set up a Topin ZX303A GPRS device (or possible clone) for the first time and stuck with two issues.
I could set it up correctly on demo2.traccar.org after some trials (Port # 5199, 3G sim in place of 4G/5G). The set up worked for about 8 days, and the device now shows red pin (no updates) but full battery. Locations shared = 980 (over 7 days). I am not sure if this is the limit that has been talked about (https://www.traccar.org/forums/topic/demo-server-track-limit/) , or some issue with my setup.
PS: I could get this back online by restarting and registering again. It has been about 24 hours since it went offline.
I had also tried installing a Windows server earlier, but couldn't get it to work because of issues related to firewall and IPv6. Now, I have managed to get the service started (port = 8082) and also opened port #5199. With this, I can get mobile client (Android Traccar Client) to work. However, the Topin device wouldn't come online. I have tried giving the following commands to set URLs:
a) domain#demo2.traccar.org#5199#
b) domain#http://[myipv6address]/#8082#
c) domain#[myipv6address]#8082#
d) domain#myipv6address#8082#
e) the above three with port #5199#
Is there something I'm doing wrong? I couldn't understand the configuration file business, so I didn't do anything about it.
