Commands not showing in settings menu

Hi all,

I have created some custom saved commands but I don’t know how to send the commands to the device.

I don’t have the SMS turned on. Just want on data

But there is no commands options in my meun

first you must assign the commands to each device, and then from the popup you can send them, check the popup icons

Or if you have more of the same devices then you can first create a group, the add the saved commands to the group. Then any device you add to the group will have the commands directly (shown from the command list on the popup menu for tge device on the map). This is handy since you could also send (if needed) the commands to all devices at once from the group menu.

You do not need SMS features enabled.

Just go to Settings, Devices, select tracker triple dots options, Connections, Saved Commands, add the saved commands you have created earlier.

To used it, go to Map, select desired Device, arrow upload icon, Settings, Command, Required, Saved Command, New ... drop down list of command you tagged earlier, select desired command and click Send.

Hope my narration helps. Not many traccar advance users like to teach newbies spoon feeding guides. It is best you try learn by exploring the pltform navigation on your own effort as you master TracCar software better.

Great! I guess TracCar community could be more friendly and spoon feed one another to allow the community to grow instead of leaving newbies hanging half way with unsolved solution desires.

I comes from end user computing tech support career background so I understands how is newbies frustration seeking solutions to a problem.

Check the user manual SMS command list for your tracker. Or protocol documentation.

So the sms commands will work over custom commands.

Yes, you set your device trackers SMS commands at Settings, Saved Commands and linked it to your desired device.

View results at Map, Device, tripple dot green icon, More Details you shall find the Status attributes.
