OBD2 tracking device for East Africa/Kenya?

Hi there, Folks, I've been trying for over a year to get the Freematics ONE+ device working in Kenya, it simply won't connect to the networks (both with local Telco SIMs and global SIMs like Hologram). Any recommendations lease for devices know to work in Africa? Thanks
