Create new computed attribute and add it as Driver, after that link the Driver to the device
I don't think this can fulfill the requirement because, according to the use case, the truck delivers glasses tied to a pallet, and they place a Zebra RFID tag on each pallet. We need to scan it when the truck arrives at the warehouse, customer location, etc.
Belive me, that is tha way. I use the system for the same scenarios but for agricultural equipment and with EYE Beacon. The Driver is the best option because you can add specific attributes for each Driver (RFID or Beacon) not only the uniqueId. That's mean, you can recognize what equipment is exactly on the truck, as dimensions or quantity or something else....
Hi Kaloyan, Would you be interested in demoing your system to me?
Hi Karl, I don't want to avoid the forum's rules and can't make some online demonstration but can share some screenshots.
Make a Driver with specific details which you need, in this case I maked type of equipment "Сламопреса" McHale and size (width in cm) 210cm
After that on monitoring you can see what equipment is on this car.
And because of the size I can calculate in the report how many m2 he makes for some period of time.
In my cases that is connected with geofences to can see what kind of jobs the tractor makes in some agriculture land and how much acres they makes.
Can you handle multiple pieces of equipment?
I see you are using the FMX6XX range of devices, have you had issues with the FMS throwing up canbus errors?
Thanks
Yes, we can handle multiple sensors, but in popup you will see only the first one connected, others is saved in attributes and you can see it in reports.
In this example I not using FMX, just FMB140 ALL CAN
FMS connector is only for trucks, agriculture machines using 9 pin circle socket.
For trucks, if you not using tachometer is not necessary FMC6XX, just FMC150 or FMB140 ALLCAN
@Kaloyan
looks nice .. let me investigate first and get back here
thanks
@Kaloyan I have same cases. how I can check the data already send the rfid identifier? currently I used concox x3 integrated with rfid. but I'm not sure the data from rfid already sent. can you give me some insight about this?
@GD, that depends of the device settings, probably the device sending the io parameter only one time, when the rfid is in the reader range. In this case you can use processing.copyAttributes to handle the identification
@Kaloyan I cannot catch what you say. sorry before. this is my first time to explore about gps system. but I want to make it advance with adding rfid as identifier who driver use that car. I need step by step and how to fulfill that requirement
As I say, depends of the device settings, how the device is configured to sending parameters. Try to read and understanding how Teltonika represent the data. FMC650 AVL Parameters, RFID Reader
Let's not forget that this is a forum for Traccar server issues...
I am working with the Teltonika FMC650 and Zebra FX9600 for RFID integration. Teltonika sends the RFID information through event io10611. My question is: how can I convert io10611 to Traccar's attribute? Which attribute should I use, and how can I display that attribute in the report? In my case, I want to have the Zebra RFID attribute label included.
I would appreciate your advice.
Thanks!
