Have you followed the troubleshooting guide?
Do I have to open the 5093 port of the tracker on my box?
I don't remember doing it on my previous version
First you have to follow the troubleshooting guide. Then report full results here and we can discuss if you still haven't figured out the problem.
I don't have a default.xml file in /conf/traccar
But the web server is on and no HEX in my logs
How can I do to edit a good default.xml file?
How can I do to edit a good default.xml file?
This is exactly why we removed it. It clearly said "DO NOT MODIFY THIS FILE" in the header and yet people modify it all the time.
Why do you need it?
OK for the default.xml that no longer exists in the new version. Excuse me.
But I ended up finding my mistake:
In the tracker configuration, you have to put the server address without the port of the box (xx.xx.xx.xxx / not xx.xx.xx.xxx:yyyyy) followed by the port of the tracker (mine: 5093)
(What is surprising is that the tracker was configured with the port of the box on the old server.)
Thank you Anton for your patience (you must need it)
Hello
I had a Traccar server running on a Debian VM but it crashed and forced me to reinstall everything.
So I couldn't delete the tracker that was configured there.
I was able to recreate my server and add my tracker (TKstar TK915 port 5093) but I have no feedback or location.
I assume (perhaps wrongly) that this is because the tracker is still "active" on the old server and therefore cannot duplicate on the new one.
The address of both servers (old and new) is the same and the tracker configuration has not been changed.
Why can't I add my tracker to the new server? What manipulations should I try?
With all my thanks for all the leads offered.
