Hello, I have a GPS from the company Jimi, model VL103, which I configured in Traccar on port 5023. The tracking works well, but it does not receive SOS alarms. Any suggestions to make the SOS work?

There are many variations of GT06 protocol. Yours could be yet another one, so need to check the protocol documentation. Or it could be some device malfunction as well.

I think it must be a variant because the SOS works well on the Chinese platform. Is there any way to implement it in Traccar? I have the protocol file.

Yes, there is a way. There are 3 ways actually:

  1. If you can implement it yourself, you can send us a pull request to include it in Traccar.
  2. You can create a feature request on GitHub and wait till we implement it.
  3. You can use our professional services to implement it on paid basis.
