It depends on the protocol your device is using. If it uses the standard Teltonika protocol, the port is 5027, as you can see on the Devices page.
yes this is clear to me but cloudflare does not let me enter any port
Why not? Are you using free CloudFlare? I think free version only allows HTTP protocol.
yes the plan is the free one I think I will use duckdns
Teltonika doesn't use HTTP.
and how could I do without a public IP? could you recommend me a gps that uses http
You cannot use it without a public IP. I don't have a recommendation.
anyway I checked and it supports DNS protocols https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/TFT100_GPRS_settings
Not sure what your point is. You still need a public IP address.
I will have to do various tests in order to update everyone on the configuration of the teltonika gps with sever traccar
Hi everyone,
I’m configuring my FMT100 Teltonika device, and I see that I can enter a DNS (domain) instead of an IP address. However, the device still requires me to specify a port.
Does anyone know which port I should use? I assume it depends on the protocol the server is using (like HTTP, HTTPS, or TCP), but I’m not sure what the correct port would be in this case. Should I use a standard port, or do I need to obtain this information directly from the server I’m sending data to?
Thanks a lot for any help!
