TK905 find current adminip etc

sejtam3 months ago

I recently got an TK905 from Aliexpress (so likely a chinese copy)?

It currently works find with mytkstar.net (though I cannot get the admin phone# to receive any alerts) and it answers SMS

To use it with Traccar, I would need to set the adminip

But if I want to go back to mytkstar.net fore any reason, I would need to set the adminip back

So how can I query the device for its current admin settings?

Also, does anyone know whether I should speficy the admin phone number with '+xx' for the country code or 00? I am in Singapore. So far nothing has worked

thanks

For mytkstar.net the IP use to be:
47.88.85.196 7700

Better if you check it using this command:
send SMS to the device with this text:
check123456
(123456 is the default password)

To set the admin number to receive alerts:
admin123456(space)0065XXXXXXXXXX

If you use the app, you can place your phone here:
settings> set SOS > add number like: 0065XXXXXXXXX

Thanks. That shows the admin phone being correctly registered qith 0065XXXXXXXX, but I still don't get any call/SMS when moving the TK

could it be that this is different for different providers?

is there a way to trigger such an alarm for testing?

Hmm. so I downloaded the WINNESS app, but registering my TK905 there fails. I use the ID and the (changed by me password). The mytkstar.net web works just fine with that. What gives?

I think you should send the sock command to the device:

shock123456

Everytime someone touch the device, It will send a new sms with the location and battery status.

check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22lvq6r3f2M

I was relying on " sleep123456 shock"
, which didn't. Hmm

Anyway, still no calls, just SMS

Is there way to specify APN names that have whitespace inthem?

Also, is there a complete list of available commands? I keep seeing new ones that are not onthe official docs?
