How is it related to SMS gateway? Seems like you just want to change notifications content. You can definitely do that in templates.

Thank you for your quick response. Let me clarify what I am trying to achieve. Traccar sends me notifications via email with descriptions, so I know which input has been activated each time. Unlike email, SMS notifications only send me the content "{TRACCAR ALARM}" in my case.
You should never change the placeholders in the config file. Instead you should change template files, as I said earlier.
