You use Filtering ?
Fix time is the time of the last GPS fix that device reported.
I just took it for a test and yeah, its way out:

Nah, I don't use filtering. Should I?
What i mean to say is that if you use filtering the fix time might be different when positions are filtered out. The simple thing is you should check traccar log. If the device reports a postion, but it reports it as invalid then logicly the position fix time wont be updated.

Most devices I leave default TZ and it syncs with the server/browser fine, this particular unit is driving me crazy.
I have reached out to Jimi and asked about the TZ settings and they provided this information:
"device is not with timezone defined.
Upload data only with default of UTC 0 .
Platform need to configure the timezone."
Although in the commands we have this:
Set GMT parameter GMT,A,B,C# "A: E or W; ""E"" means eastern time zone, ""W"" means western time zone; default: E
B: 0–12; time zone, default: 8
C: 0/15/30/45; half time zone; default: 0"
ASETGMT,A# "A=ON/OFF (default :ON)
ON: means enable GMT self-adaptation
OFF: means disable GMT self-adaptation"
GMT# GMT:E,8,0 (AUTO) Check the current time zone parameters
So I am kind of lost.
Wondering if anyone can help with this.
The device is a Jimi VL512 (https://www.jimilab.com/products/vl512-4g-obd-tracker.html) and I can not get the time correct.
This is under "More" when the device is offline but device time and fix time is in sync when it's online.
Could the port be incorrect? everything is fine apart from the time.

When I run a chart report the times are all weird, I'm guessing due to the time issue.

I stopped using the VL512, I could not get it to work.

I am using a VL512 device using the gt06 protocol and I am having some trouble with the times.
The device time is correct but fixtime is incorrect.
When trying to replay or looking at any events everything is out of time sync
