Traccar 4.14

Traccar 4.14 is available for download.

One of the most important changes in this release is migration to local dependencies for the original web app. It means that Traccar web app doesn't require access to CDN. The main reason was recent reports from India where the CDN we use got blocked by the government. This solves the problem, but it will also be useful for anyone who wants to run more independent version of Traccar, including fully local deployments.

Other noteworthy updates:

• Major UI redesign for the modern web app
• Geofence management support in the modern app
• Fixes for broken maps, including Yandex
• Performance improvements in the modern app to handle large number of devices
• Support for persisting user session in the database
• WebSocket connection keepalive; no more random error popups
• Telegram location notification is now optional
• Server side driver behavior events

This time there is only one new protocol:

• STB - protocol for Battery Exchange Cabinet from a bike sharing startup in Indonesia

In addition, this release, as always, includes a huge number of improvements to existing protocols. We also streamlined development setup for the original web app with NPM for dependencies download and build process.
